BiOle antimicrobial polypropylene yarn and textile surface
Antimicrobial polypropylene yarn

Protection starts within the fibre.

BiOle is a lightweight, durable Turktex polypropylene yarn family whose antibacterial and antifungal functionality is introduced into the polymer during production.

Developed by TurktexBursa, Türkiye

Three-layer function

Built into the fibre. Reliable throughout use.

Antimicrobial agents are introduced into the polymer during melt spinning. Instead of remaining as a surface coating, the functionality is locked into the fibre structure and is less affected by repeated washing or abrasion.

Inhibits bacterial growth

Helps reduce the conditions in which bacteria grow and propagate on textile surfaces.

Antifungal protection

Supports textile performance against unwanted fungal development.

Odour control

Helps limit unwanted odours associated with bacteria and fungi.

Material advantage

Lightweight polypropylene meets durable functionality.

BiOle can be produced in air-textured, textured, continuous filament, fancy and chenille constructions. Raw white articles are held in stock, while dope-dyed colours can be prepared on request.

Wash resistant

Fibre-integrated functionality supports durability through repeated washing.

Low density

Polypropylene supports applications where lower weight is important.

Colour flexibility

Raw white stock and made-to-order dope-dyed colour options.

Construction range

CF, air-textured, textured, fancy and chenille articles.
